I have to say, it seems to me that the Canonical Design Team takes all of it cues from Apple. It’s quite sad.
Why can’t you stop being sheep and start putting your efforts into being *better* than what is available in true Open Source spirit?
Surprise, surprise!
@DanielDivine
Hopefully you will get to know me better and see that I try not to follow anyone, even less big corporates!
Said that, speaking for myself, I can say:
1) The Element app hasn’t been designed by Apple.
, you can follow my rants on http://twitter.com/nuthinking ).
2) Recently I have a pretty strong hate towards Apple’s politic (it’s 10 years I have been using also Adobe Flash
3) I have to admit the maniacal approach that Apple has towards design (10 to 3 to 1), can bring to some inspiring results sometimes: http://www.vimeo.com/1873168
4) I joined Canonical because I am confident we can do “better” then Apple, please be patient!
