I gotta say this one made me smile
Oh no! This will just encourage Americans more to say “You-bun-too”!
When people ask me how to pronounce it, I tell them it’s an African word, so they’re not expected to pronounce it right. I say it differently depending on whether I’m speaking English or Spanish at the time.
I do the same I say you bun too and I say oo boon too and a few other different ways depending on the weather
