12.10 shortlist, a gallery on Flickr.
Today the group closed on submissions for the 12.10 wallpaper selection. The team of us involved are still working to add/ remove and refine this collection before the 30th. We’ve got a few more than our 10 target, we’ll review this number tomorrow based on quality and what we can include.

I really enjoyed the selectione so far, I belive this may be one of the best galery ever for Ubuntu. But I really miss this one here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55253462@N03/7864597230/in/pool-2024622@N25/
I mean, the guy made it on Blender and Gimp, and I really liked the idea. Of course Valdstudio’s one is also wonderfull, but I don’t see a reason for not having two digital arts, as soon as we have good alternatives. Anyway, it’s just my opinion, congratulations for the shortlist, I hope you finish it nicely! :D

Not too impressed. Some are under exposed, have too much contrast, are very typical (flower macro shots?), are over edited, not exciting, etc.
What would be great, maybe for some future editions, is forcing people to create them with FLOSS software. :)
