We are blogging a lot of cakes, so to economise on space, I’ve paired Mika and I’s latest baking attempts.
Last week was my turn to bake a cake. I was nervous. There’s a lot of pressure, and it is no easy task! So I chose to bake a loaf (but relying on one design seemed to be too much of a case of “putting all your eggs in one basket” so I went for two). A blueberry and apple loaf, and a pistachio loaf (recipes from Hummingbird Bakery).
This week was Mika’s turn, and he didn’t disappoint. A beautiful New York cheesecake (and he had to buy cake baking equipment especially). Go team!

Now is when one regrets to work remotely! ;-)
Now I wish I wasn’t out of the office on holiday
If these posts are going be coming out every week they should be seperated into a cakes.canonical.com blog. :P
Sorry, but noone cares about your stupid cakes! This blog is the canonical design blog! So how about stop eating cakes and start writing something about the design-process? How about work on the new ubuntu-icon-theme? How is work going on the new default-wallpaper? Will there be new designs? These are interesting topics! This site is getting useless. I am always checking here in the hope to know something new about ubuntus design-process but reading this very stupid and useless articless about cakes is very frustrating. I hope canonical is not paying for this.
This is not the canonical “design blog”
it’s the “canonical design” blog
:P
